THE MOST SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIFREAKING INCREDIBLE NIGHT EVER.
Abigail and I performed in this event that was held after school on 6:30 PM up to 8:30 PM. It's one of the most memorable night because it's our first time to perform in the school. It's like WTFKLHFKJSDHSDFHDNKNFDNJDKJIEUWOIU! I don't know, it felt amazing inside. Abigail played the guitar and I sang. We sang Therapy by All Time Low and Tell Me Where It Hurts by MYMP. We were suppose to sing just one song, which was Therapy, but Abigail wanted to sing one more song so we decided to sing Tell Me Where It Hurts without anyone knowing it ;]
We were the last performer, which was cool! Before I tell all the juicy details, Open Mic Night is an event where people can feel free to do their "thing" on the stage in front of the audience. Eliott and Matthew, a friend of ours, played the Piano and recited a poem respectively. They did an excellent job by the way. Some rapped, danced, and sang too. There were fun games too. There's one where teachers and students had a showdown! It was awesome ! LOL We couldn't stop laughing! :))
Back to our performance, when they called us from our seats, my heart was beating so fast. I was so nervous! Abigail was a little nervous too but we're excited! Some of our friends came to support us, which was so sweet of them! >.<>
When we were performing our first song, I couldn't look at the audience because I was too nervous. And oh, I was a failure at first because the mic wasn't on when I started singing. -_____- How embarrassing. But this guy went up to help me "turn it on" HOW STUPID AM I :| So anyway, the mic was on and my voice became louder. OMG OMG OMG I was holding on my mic stand. It was a new experience O_O Then when it was over, they all clapped and both of us were smiling. Then Abigail started strumming her guitar to the tune of Tell Me Where It Hurts. OMG, I wasn't overwhelmed anymore. That time, I could look at the audience now, and even stare at some people for a minute. I saw a lot of cameras out. O_O
After the two successful performance, I was shaking as hell. But I was glad too that we made it ! Matthew wrote us a poem, which was again SWEET!
Oh, and during the performances, there were SO MANY FOODS AND THE GOOD PART IS THEY'RE FREEEEE ! (:
So yeah, that's basically what happened tonight. It was a BLAST! I'm glad we participated.
